Study Filmmaking in the United States

Students that are exploring the option to Study Abroad can continue their education at the New York Film Academy’s Los Angeles, South Beach or New York campus.

Pathways to the U.S are available to qualified students who complete their CUA51015 DIPLOMA OF SCREEN AND MEDIA and/or CUA60615 ADVANCED DIPLOMA OF SCREEN AND MEDIA, allowing eligible students to transfer credits to their U.S degree programs.

IMPORTANT: Students MUST have an Australian Year 12 completion certificate or a U.S. High School Diploma equivalent prior to commencing the NYFA Australia Diploma program in order to transfer credits to a U.S. bachelor program.

CUA51015 DIPLOMA OF SCREEN AND MEDIA
The 1-Year New York Film Academy Australia's Diploma program is equivalent to one year of the New York Film Academy's 1-Year Certificate Program, as offered in the U.S.

Students who successfully complete the Diploma program will receive a Diploma of Screen & Media and a transcript for the 1-year certificate program for eligibility to pathway into the NYFA 2-Year Certificate (NY) or Degree program (LA/SB).

*CUA60615 ADVANCED DIPLOMA OF SCREEN AND MEDIA
The 2-Year New York Film Academy Australia's Diploma program is equivalent to two years of the New York Film Academy's 2-Year Certificate Program, as offered in the U.S.

Students who successfully complete the Advanced Diploma program will receive an Advanced Diploma of Screen & Media and a transcript for the 2-year certificate program for eligibility to pathway into the NYFA U.S Degree program.
