Q. How does the Student Visa application process work? A. In order to apply for a Student Visa, you will require a Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE) which will be issued to you by the NYFA Australia International Student Office. We recommend you review the document checklist tool for student visa applications, which can be found here. You will require a CoE for your visa interview at the Australian Embassy in your home country, where they will decide whether to issue you a student visa.
Q. What are the steps to get a Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE)? A. You need to Apply to the Program first and submit your admission documents. Once an international student has been accepted into their New York Film Academy Australia Full Time Program, a Letter of Offer containing an invoice with a breakdown of semester tuition will be sent to you by email. A 25% Enrolment Deposit is required to confirm your place in the program. This will be applied to your first semester tuition fees. Upon receiving the deposit, the New York Film Academy Australia will provide a Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE).
Q. How long does it take to get a CoE and visa? A. We can issue the CoE very quickly once you are accepted into the program and submitted your deposit. The wait time for visa appointments varies between countries and at different times of the year. More information on application processing times can be found here. We recommend you apply early to ensure plenty of time to organise your relocation to Australia.
